Mission Pilot QualificationsMembers of Pilots for Christ International, Inc., may assist the organization in its mission of providing air transportation to those in need (more information about mercy flights). While we are grateful for all offers of assistance, we assign flight missions only to PCI members. All such flights in the United States must comply with all regulations of the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, including, but not limited to, those regulations requiring aircraft airworthiness (i.e. FAR 91.7), recent experience of the pilot in command (i.e. FAR 91.57) and weather minimums for the rating held by the pilot in command (i.e. FAR 91.155, FAR 91.175). All such flights in nations other than the United States must similarly comply with all aviation regulations of the nation(s) in which the flights occur. Chapters of Pilots for Christ International, Inc., may impose additional restrictions for flights they coordinate, at the individual discretion of each chapter. Members of Pilots for Christ International, Inc., may volunteer to provide such flights by contacting the officers of their chapter. Members at large (those who do not live near an active chapter) may volunteer by contacting Flight Coordinator Jim McConnell. For more information, email PCI Flight Coordinator Jim McConnell. |
